I've been interested in photography since grade school, but it's only been in the last couple years that I've become a serious amateur. I started out taking architecture, cityscape, and all around general still-life photos. Lately I've become more interested in portrait, documentary, and other people photography.
I mostly shoot digital on a Nikon D50 camera with Tamron lenses: a 28-80mm and a 70-300mm macro. When I shoot film, I use a Minolta X-370 with a few different lenses: Minolta 45mm and 35-75mm and Vivitar 28mm and 80-200mm. For editing, I use Adobe Creative Suite CS2 Premium on an Apple iMac G5 and Apple MacBook.
Je parle un peu de français.

" I just grab my camera and see what happens. I like the surprise of it all." I'd say only one thing to you: clap my (your) hands say yeah ;) very good photos!!
Hello Ben,
I've just gone through your first few postings and I am impressed with your willingness to experiment. Macro plant shots, graphic street scenes and your impressive multi-exposure hallway shot. If you ever have any questions, or anything I can help you out with, please don't hesitate to ask me, or visit the text forums. Cheers from your neighbour to the north. Patrick
